Grade 3 EQAO Writing (Primary Division)
What is the Grade 3 EQAO Writing Task?
The Grade 3 EQAO writing assessment evaluates a student's ability to communicate ideas clearly using the digital e-assessment platform. Because the test is online, students must be comfortable typing their short answers and paragraphs.
Students will face a mix of multiple-choice questions (focusing on grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure) and open-response tasks where they must write short narratives or express an opinion.
